wahoo! skill update 2 days before mAT! idk if this means teams won't have enough practice time with new stuff, it'll be much better than seeing every team running a variety of 3 builds.

I have them... more than you have I would bet, but I personally enjoy the boardwalk and events in Cantha better than Proph NF (no, I dont afk rings) - all I want is some equality here.. theres the long halloween festival and the long wintersday festivals for the other 2, yet Cantha get 2 weekends,
you would think with the gold sink that the rings are, that anet would welcome a week long event to draw some excess cash out of the system (even if its too little too late).
Im not against the re run per se, just the fact that the rerun will be longer than the whole years events in Cantha..

Sorry, but if they miss the finale for a second time (it was only glitched for about 3 times on Jan 1st) and they used up their shards too then what do they expect? Its not like you cant get a stack pretty quickly doing the quests for an hour anyway on the day....

Nah. Expect them in April. They'll be part of the 5th year anniversary.

It's really sad how ANet conditions their users to be so happy when they half-heartedly decide to do an update. They keep disappointing their users so much that finally when they decide to put in as little effort as possible to release an update (at a really horrible time too, 2 days before a mAT) rather than being upset that ANet can't do things right, get updates out on time, and live up to their promise of frequent bi-monthly updates (a promise they've broken within the first 2 months) everyone is overjoyed at the fact that they're getting an update at all.
Ah the wonders of conditioning. Like starving rats but having them still love you and be loyal when you finally decide to give them food. ^_^

First Regina says that no way is the update not coming before the MAT and then only the GvG is going to get updated before the MAT?! I'm befuddled.

Well, I would assume that the people she works for told her that they wouldn't be updating the skills right before the mAT, she told the community, people were upset, she told her superiors their reaction, superiors decided to release what they had ready.

^ What else could have taken them 5 months to do? It must be 100+ skills otherwise they're just lazy.

Shame,I don't recall ordering a large order of fail with an equally large side order of bitter disappointment.
The devs are apparently having too much fun with their GW2 test server parties.

I find it funny that it was posted here and not on wiki that it was a full fledged redo of Wintersday. The Wintersday post on GWWiki has no mention of this at all. What is up with all of the awful communication going on between the devs and the player base? No offense to guildwarsguru, but I don't think that more information on an event should be posted here rather than on the wiki by a dev. Yes a player could edit the wiki because of what was posted here by a Dev, but we shouldn't have to. Heck, the info should be posted in the log-in screen or on the official Guild Wars website.

Actually yes you should have to put it on the wiki as a player yourself, the devs should do as little editing on the wiki as possible.By the devs editing it could be biased (heavily) or scrubbed.
(In my opinion) GWG is the biggest GW related community so I dont see why its wrong to post on here first.
Most of the player base will find out in one way or another ANYWAYS so more places they post (in whatver order) the better.
The devs may not have time to post the info on guru/gwo/guildwall/wiki/other wiki etcetc, you know they are busy working .....the LEAST you can do is take some work of their shoulder and edit the wiki yourself.
Yes it should be on the login and website, and im pretty sure it will be when its closer to the day,It also sound like you want them to post it on the site first before posting on guru,do you really want them to wait for the web develeport to get time to postit on the site, or do you want them to post the info as soon as they can, which may mean telling us in whichever way they can.
Now stop trying to find things to complain about and go edit the wiki.

What are you talking about? An official wiki hosted by a company should have no posts by the employees creating their own game that the wiki describes? They allow their customers to use it as a privilege, but it is entirely their domain.
